Moose Lodge American Heros car show

This  1962 Chevy Station wagon took the Moose Lodge Best Choice award at the American Heros Car Show.  Congratulations to owner Steve R.   Also  Ron King’s ’40 Ford Delux and Geoff Guy’s ’60 Rambler took home trophies.  We had great spectator turnout while the Moose Lodge served breakfast, lunch and BBQ dinner.

: Talk about cars, socialize and have fun.

Club news:  Meetings continue at the Chamber of Commerce
in Barlette Parking lot on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00
PM.  The next meeting is June 14th at 7 PM.
Be aware that meeting time is now 7pm.

Kenny is still talking about t-shirts maybe next meeting he will have
something for us.

June 3rd is the second Yucaipa car show which is bring a canned food
event, I will be out of town but others in club can coordinate the run.

Nancy needs the last two write ups on the cars going to the airshow
before the final meeting next week wed. we need the write ups from Dave and
Kenny.

Kenny says his flyers for Kernville will be out soon and all shows scheduled
in Big Bear by Rhodeshow are cancelled for this year.

Do not forget to look for stuff to give for Pause for Paws Yard sale, please take stuff to Ruthann Guy on May 26. Also bring baked goods for bake sale.

Carl’s Junior car cruise is now in full swing and is every Wed at Carl’s
Jr from 5 to 8PM. Today should be a good showing wed May 25th.

Big weekend for showing your cars (Memorial Day Weekend), first show and
shine at Moose lodge in Fawnskin. We were talking about showing up about 9AM
but if you want Burrito Breakfast you should be there about 8:30AM, next would
be show and shine at Citibank on Sunday. We were talking about arriving about
8AM and parking on the plaza end of the parking lot.

Chili cook-off in Barlette parking lot on July 16th we will
also be showing our cars. Who knows how to make good chili, please volunteer,
we need to make 5 gallons, and club will pay for ingredients from treasury.

WELCOME TO OUR NEWS MEMBERS MONA BAIR AND HER HUSBAND BRIAN. She needs
some help working on her car.

The club is meeting at the Donut Shop in Staters parking lot on Sat from
8AM until 10AM.

show in Vons Parking lot- 2nd show is June 3rd 6 to 9 PM

We usually
leave around 3:30 PM to get good spaces; there are 6 more dates after this
date.

Paws for Paws
yard sale May 27-29 at Ruthann Guys house bring donated items on Thursday may
26 to her house.

We need someone to keep a list
and flyers for upcoming car shows it is an easy job but will help keep everyone
informed.  Please think about this a
volunteer your time and talents.

Special Event- Yard sale for the
benefit of (pause for paws) Memorial Day
weekend, will be sponsored by Ruthann Guy at their house on Chaparral
Court. Everyone start looking for stuff that you can donate for the cause.

Airfare Car Information

We now have almost all the information for the cars coming to the car show except we are missing Dave and Eloise’s info and Kenny’s. We need this info by wed of next week for the final airshow meeting.

SUMMER IS HERE

Well that was the longest winter of my life, thank god its over, lets get more cruzin goin and try to tell more people about the club and the runs coming up . See ya FatPat

Carl’s Jr cruise

The weather kept a lot of cruisers from going to Carl’s this past Wednesday.  A few die hards did show up.  With the return of the warm weather, we should see a good turnout.  How about Saturday (doomsday) at the donut shop?
